The kitchen is the heart of the home, so you want it to be as gorgeous as a room with that title deserves. A beautiful, functional kitchen will inspire you to get creative with meals, then draw you in to linger at the table with friends and family long after the plates have been cleared. We hope these kitchens inspire you to make changes big or small in your home.
A kitchen island is on our dream kitchen checklist. If you have the space, but not the funds to commit to a reno (or if you’re renting) you can get the same effect with a high table. Counter space problem solved! And doesn’t this one look inviting?
There’s no boring white backsplash to be found here. The tropical wallpaper in this Parisian-style apartment in Warsaw is full of personality, and it means this kitchen will feel sunny even in the middle of a Polish winter. We’re also loving the etoile floors and clever suspended cabinetry. See more of the apartment on Vogue living.
One of our most constant kitchen struggles is not having enough shelving. Not a problem in this kitchen, with this otherwise unused space now dedicated to floating shelves. If you have open shelving in your kitchen you do have to carefully consider what you’ll store there, as it is both storage and display. Keep it pretty!
This nautical kitchen perfectly balances rustic and modern elements and the end product is super cool. If there’s one room of the house we can get behind a theme with a pinch of kitsch, it’s the kitchen. See the rest of this cute Nantucket cottage here.
The organic greens and murky blues of this London kitchen are understated, elegant, and pair perfectly with the marble wall and gold taps. It’s a great mix of vintage style and modern scale. Sure, most of us can’t replicate the size of this kitchen, but we can certainly take inspiration from the stylish colour scheme and detailing.
